Back in 2016, 2017 — I had a goal. I wanted to buy a house. Simple as that. But when I started looking into it, I realized my credit wasn't where it needed to be. Collections, old accounts, stuff dragging my score down. Nobody had ever taught me how any of it worked.

So I figured it out myself. I learned how to dispute inaccurate items, how to build a strong profile, how to actually position myself for approvals. I removed collections, rebuilt my score, and bought that house. But that was just the beginning.

After that I started seeing just how much credit affects everything. You can't just get a home — you can't get a decent car, can't start a business without capital, can't even qualify for certain jobs. Bad credit doesn't just hurt your score. It limits your entire life. Where you live, where your kids go to school, what opportunities you can even reach for.

I fixed my wife's credit. Then my friends. Then family. People kept coming to me because it was working, and I started realizing — this is something I can actually do for people. Not just as a service, but as something that genuinely changes where someone ends up in life.

That's what pushed me to build NextUp Enterprise. Not just to run a credit repair company — but to be the person I wish I'd had back when I was trying to figure it all out on my own.
